the interview

Here I am again.

Today was my interview for my US citizenship. I did review those 100 questions for American History. I printed a few notes and read them over and over again. I almost come to memorize all the questionaire. Well they said you're only allowed to answer 6 correct answers out of 10 questions. My appointment was 11:30 am. I was nervous yes. I dressed up professionally and answered what are only asked. Consistency should be present which i {whew!} actully did. The officer questioned my long stay of more than a year but less than two years. Im very much thankful that he considered and approved my application. I have answered the questionaires quite well. Hopefully I will be scheduled to swear this Dec 22nd. I hope and pray.

Out of the blue, I went to straighten back my hair. Thank God, my hair is straight again. Goodbye hair styling products!!!

Last Dec 7 was Mom's Birthday. I treated her to Sandcastle Show on Ice. Pictures can be viewed here. At the same time, we also tried to take pictures with the Christmas Lights Galore in Tumon. I have this funny picture where I looked kawawa.. hehe.

Work at the theater is fine. Now, I get to work in box and concession at the same time. Christmas Party will be on the 21st of December. Im looking forward to games and exchange gifts. Hmm sino kaya nakabunot sa akin?...

Dec 21st naman, our Christmas Party with ITE at Marriott. I got a dress already! I'd love to wear it simply but elegantly.

Im thankful Sherwin got his bopit before he gets home to Pinas! Be safe buddy. Hell---looo Batchmates of CKC are planning to get together again this December. What the Heck?! I wanna be there but of course I cant. I will visit my uncle in Texas together with my family. Wow first time in US Mainland. Wish me luck and hope to find a job too!!!

Let's see...

I've had my share with the xango juice. It tastes fine. A little but sour and bitter but not really. Almost done with my bottle. The best way to cure UTI is to drink lots of fluids and also cranberry juice, which I do also religiously. But still I recommend the xango to everyone. Also, my belly is getting uhrm... bulgy... I need to trim down my diet hehe. shhhh. Grabe I like salty foods pa naman... adobo.. hmm panalo!!! :D

I started Friday at the Movie house - Wallace Theatres. I was stationed at the concession and I did pretty well. Second day, I was set on the spot on my own cash register also my third day. Funny part is my co-workers are a little childish on some ways and they dont have 'high'regards on customer service. Any way, that's why I'm there to change things .. {uuuy} and of course work to the best of my ability.

I miss my family. Not time with family. I just go home to bathe, sleep and vavavoom! Fly back to work again. Whew!! That's how life here in Guam. If you stop workin' ur dead. But its not as busy as hell. Guam has a simple way of living. You get to eat, buy anything. Everybody is equal.

Last Oct 22, 05, I came to meet one of Jose's friends. It's nice to see or to be introduced with people whom he trust and not because of fame. Its just so unfortunate because we didn't have much time to go out. Vhong's schedule was hectic as hell.

xango juice

I've been experiencing UTI problems lately and been to the doctor twice. A friend of mine, Keith recommended me a mangosteen juice, a healthy drink for all ages. Wondering if it helps cure UTI and he found out some testimonials regarding its effectiveness.

I just got my first bottle today and Im hoping that I'll like it. Xango mangosteen juice... why the name xango?
XAN from xanthones and GO from mangosteen

Here's a brief detail on xango mangosteen drink.

How Can XanGo™ Change My Life?

The Mangosteen and its xanthone-rich pericarp have been used in traditional medicine for thousands of years. Rarely has a fruit so unknown to the western world been so examined, researched, and scrutinized by science.

XanGo was the first to capture the power of this delicious- tasting fruit in their patented formulation. Now you can benefit from the whole fruit of the Mangosteen with this carefully created product. And you'll love using the product because it actually tastes great!

What Are Xanthones?

Research shows xanthones possess potent antioxidant properties that help maintain intestinal health, strengthen the immune system, neutralize free radicals, help support cartilage and joint function, and promote a healthy seasonal respiratory system.

pinoy tayo...

There's a TV sitcom, Pinoy Big Brother in ABS-CBN. I like the them song titled Pinoy Ako sang by Orange and Lemons. The lyrics gave Filipinos self esteem, proud to be a Filipino and what a Filipino can do.

I find disappointment in the show, since I was hoping that the show will find Filipino contestants that truly deserve to have a better life. I find the contestants affluent and I know there are more deserving Filipino citizens to have a better life. Media Industry really finds market with this type of shows. Reality shows. Among the contestants I am casting my vote on Nene, so far she's the one I see who's true and find no hypcrisy with her personality, on /off camera.

I was able to find a blogspot of Pinoy Big Brother. Read some stuff here.

I linked the mp3 here (I'm still workin on it) and here's the lyrics...

Pinoy Ako
Orange and Lemons

Lahat tayo mayroon pagkakaiba sa tingin pa lang ay makikita na
Iba’t ibang kagustuhan ngunit iisang patutunguhan
Gabay at pagmamahal ang hanap mo
Magbibigay ng halaga sa iyo
Nais mong ipakilala kung sino ka man talaga

Chorus:
Pinoy ikaw ay pinoy
Ipakita sa mundo
Kung ano ang kaya mo
Ibang-iba ang pinoy
Wag kang matatakot
Ipagmalaki mo pinoy ako
Pinoy tayo

‘Pakita mo ang tunay at kung sino ka
Mayro’n mang masama at maganda
Wala naman perpekto
Basta magpakatotoo oohh… oohh…
Gabay at pagmamahal ang hanap mo
Magbibigay ng halaga sa iyo
Nais mong ipakilala kung sino ka man talaga

[chorus]

Talagang ganyan ang buhay
Dapat ka nang masanay
Wala rin mangyayari
Kung laging nakikibagay
Ipakilala ang iyong sarili
Ano man sa iyo ay mangyayari
Ang lagi mong iisipin
Kayang kayang gawin

[chorus]

no post for sometime...

I haven't updated my blog for sometime. Quite busy with work. I promise to catch up in the next few days.

Well what's new with me recently? Nothing, but I just permed my hair! Taadaaa!!! Im afraid of people's reaction on the 'transfiguration' I did to myself. {hehe} I wanted to try this for a long time and it never materialized! ... {haaay!}.. Finally I did it and Im getting the hang out of it. I need to capture myself since my friends oh so so far away are curious of how I look. {bwehehehe}. [soon guys ok]. Im busy lately and I will still be busy for the next couple of weeks, ... so just wait. I will post a before and after stuff on face [value! - meron ba?] :P I never thought having a permed hair is such a 'highly' maintenance thingy. I have my styling milk and my anti-frizz serums which are helpful to me for not letting my hair so ga-ga in short buhaghag. Of course I wouldnt let that happen to my hair..

What happened to the series? Not even a single episode was I able to watch on Reunion and Prison Break. It was such a busy month recently and I almost have no time to wash my clothes and do my personal stuff. I watched nothing but 'Hurricane Katrina, and other CNN reports'. I have nothing on my list to watch for the next few days. Instead of watching TV series, I preoccupied myself in renting DVDs and watch them in my room. I've watched a few like Hostage, My Wife as an Actress, The Legend of Suriyothai (Thai movie), Sahara (I recommend to watch), In Good Company, America's Sweethearts, Intolerable Cruelty, Runaway Jury ( this is so nice... I highly recommend this) and more...

Yesterday I went to Ross and looked around. {I will not buy anythng, I will not buy anything, just look around} hehehe ... Sorry I found some interesting stuff like Feng Shui Game (this I need to learn how to play it - pretty complicated), early Christmas cards and a Reader's Digest Asthma/Allergy Relief Medical Book. I plan to read them before I get to bed. Pretty informative.

So, enough stealing sometime to post. I will update my blog promise.... I need to share a lot of things.
